This page has tips and strategies for Diablo.
The Tips
  1. Holy Bolt Works on Diablo.
    		2. The only creature in Diablo's room affected by Holy Bolt is Diablo himself. So, if you stay outside his room, and shoot it in his direction. He'll come charging at you. Now, you can kill him without all those other guys.
  2. Killing Lazurus
    		3. This works best with a Sorceror. When you teleport into his lair, do not release his Hell-Spawns. Cast a Firewall where Lazurus is, and then release them. This should kill him easily.
  3. The Butcher
    		4. There's a lot of ways to kill the Butcher easily. I've listed all I've seen.
    1. Find a room with a pillar wall, lead the Butcher there, close the door in front of him, stay in there, and shoot him through the pillars.
    2. Open the Butcher's door, cast the Firewall spell, and close the door.
    3. (This one works best, but is confusing, and is also kind of cheap.) Get a bow, and a Town Portal spell, scoll, etc. Clear levels 1-2. Find the Butcher's room. Do not open the door. Find a room with a grate like wall on level two. Go inside the room, cast town portal, and use it to go up to the town. Drop all item. Go back down to level 2, (NOT BY USING THE PORTAL) and open the door to the Butcher's room. Run like crazy to the door with the portal in it. Stand outside it with the door closed, and let the Butcher kill you. Restart in the town, and pick up your weapons. use the Portal to go into the room, and shoot the waiting Butcher. (The only way this could fail is if you are in a Multiplayer game, and someone comes in, and they steal your stuff.)
  4. Hotkeys
    		5. All I have to say is USE THEM.
  5. Constriction rings
    		6. Get a weapon that gives you life when you attack a monster. Put on the restriction ring whenever you are fighting things that use spells that are resistable. You'll be able to kill them without losing much life at all.
  6. Repairing
    		7. When you find an item in the dungeons, etc, don't pay, or use something to identify it, unless it doesn't need repairing. First, repair the item, and then identify it. It will cost you virtually
  7. Unique Monsters
    		8. When meeting up with a unique monster, cast a spell that its real monster is immune to. These spell usually work, and work better than normal.
  8. Cheating
    		9. Just say NO!
