Chapter 12

The Dares

The next morning when everyone had woken up, Isabella put A.J.'s sleeping bag, shirt, and shorts in the dryer.

"What happened last night?" asked Nicole.

"Um, nothing, " said A.J.

"Well, A.J. rolled into the pool last night!" said Isabella.

"Shh!" said A.J. They all started to laugh. "It's not funny!"

"Sure it is!" said Brian.

"Good job buddy!" said Nick.

Isabella thought to herself. "This gives me a perfect idea!"

The guys had decided to start another game of volleyball to see who the undisputed team of them all. It was Howie, Devon, Kevin, against Nick., Brian, Jonathan, and A.J. Before the girls went out and watched the guys play, Isabella gathered the girls in the living room.

"How about we play a little game of dares?" said Isabella.

"Why?" said Mercede

"Just for a little fun." The rest of them agreed. "I'll start. Cassandra."

"What?" she said.

"I dare you to go tell Nick that you want to fuck him. Use my exact words."

"Um, okay," she said very timidly. They followed her to the door and watched her go over to the pool.

"Say it so we can hear it," Isabella called after her.

"Hey Nick. Can I tell you something?" said Cassandra.

"Hold on guys, I'll be right back." He jumped out of the pool. "Yes?" he asked.

"I want to fuck you," she said loudly. Only the girls heard her, no one in the pool did. Nick's face went expressionless. He turned his head to the girls and studdered.

"Di-did-d-d-di-did you hear that?" he yelled to them.

"Hey Nick! Come on!" yelled Kevin.

"Al-al-alright," he said still studdering. Cassandra turned around devilishly and walked back inside and closed the door. They all walked back down into the living room.

"I can't believe that I just did that!" she said.

"You were awesome!" exclaimed Nicole.

"Okay, Cassandra, it's your turn," said Mercedes.

"Okay, but wait, the guys are coming back in. Quick! Isabella, come with me!" said Cassandra and grabbed Isabella's hand and ran her upstairs.

"What?" she said.

"I have to give you your dare."

"Well what is it?"

"You have to walk downstairs in your underwear, watch television for a second, then say that you forgot something, and walk back upstairs. The whole time, you have to act like everything is fine."

"Oh, my, God. You are not going to make me do that!"

"Hey, I had to. And oh yeah, you have to do my exact words!" Isabella thought about it for a second, then said,

"Okay! I'll do it!" Cassandra laughed to herself, then walked downstairs. "Hey guys, so who is the undisputed ruler of the pool volleyball?" Nick went over to her.

"Did you have any doubt that my team would win?"

"Oh, silly me. Sorry I asked," Cassandra said laughing. She thought to herself, "he's not looking at me the same! Uh oh! But wait until Isabella comes down." Just then, Isabella came down wearing only her underwear. A.J.'s mouth dropped open, and he was speechless. She walked over to the couch and sat down turning on the television. All of the girls were giggling to themselves quietly. Isabella got up from the couch and walked through the kitchen.

"I think that I forgot something," she said. "Oh hi A.J. I didn't even see you there. Wait a second I need to get something in my room." The girls all ran up after her, and the guys could say nothing.

Upstairs, they all went into Cassandra and Mercedes' room, and Nicole was the first one to say anything. "Oh my God!" she said. "I can not believe that you did that! Whoa!"

"Yeah, and thanks to Isabella Nick isn't looking at me quite the same," said Cassandra. They all laughed.

"Oh yeah? I can only imagine how A.J. is going to look at me now!" said Isabella putting on some clothes. "Now it's somebody else's turn."

"I'll go," said Emalia. "Hmm, Coreene!"

"Uh, yeah?" Coreene said scared.

"I dare you to stuff yourself with a bunch of tissue, and offer some to Devon!" The other girls liked the idea.

"Oh great!" said Coreene, and she left to go into the bathroom. The rest of them went downstairs, and the guys tried to act like nothing had happened, especially A.J.

"Nice, um, shirt," said A.J. The other guys agreed that they really liked it too.

"Why, thank you," said Isabella. Then Coreene came down.

"I want to say that something looks different about you," said Devon after sneezing. Coreene went down her shirt and took out a tissue.

"Here," she said to him.

"Um, no, no, my, uh, sleve will do just fine." He was now scared as well. Mercedes went over to Nicole and whispered in her ear.

"I dare you to kiss Howie in front of Jonathan, but tell him about the dares, and tell him not to tell anyone!"

"Okay, but you have to go up to Brian and tell him that you don't love him anymore and that you're going back to Eric." said Nicole.

"Fine, but, I don't want to!" said Mercedes. Nicole went over to Howie and started to whisper everything into his ear.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" asked Jonathan, but Nicole couldn't answer because she was kissing Howie.

In the meantime, Mercedes had told Brian that she didn't love him anymore, and that she was going back to Eric. Brian had absolutely nothing to say. The girls all went back upstairs. It was Coreene's turn to dare.

"Okay, Emalia. I want you to call Kevin up here and into the bathroom. You have to kiss a part of the toilet, and tell Kevin that if he really loves you, that he'll kiss the same spot!"

"Ooh, good one Coreene!" said Mercedes. Emalia dragged herself out of the room, put a fake smile on her face, and called Kevin upstairs.

"Don't go!" said Brian.

"It's not safe!" said A.J., but Kevin went anyway.

Emalia bent over and kissed the top of the toilet.

"If you really love me, you'll kiss the same spot," she said. Kevin gave her a 'you're kidding me' look. By this time the rest of the guys had gathered outside the bathroom. Kevin bent over very slowly and kissed the same spot. The girls came out of their room clapping.

"Wow, I can't believe that you guys survived!" said Nicole. Howie was now laughing too.

"Howie!" all the guys said together.

"What's going on?" asked Brian.

"Okay," said Mercedes, "we were all playing a little game of dares. None of the stuff that happened today, was of our own accord." The guys started to blurt out questions one after another.

"So you still love me?" asked Brian.

"So I really didn't have to kiss the toilet?" asked Kevin.

"Why did you have to kiss Howie?" asked Jonathan.

"So you don't really stuff?" asked Devon.

"So you didn't really forget your clothes?" asked A.J.

"You don't really want to fuck me?" asked Nick. They all looked at Nick, and laughed at how disheartened he looked.

"Brian I would never leave you for Eric," said Mercedes.

"Good," said Brian.

"No Kevin. You didn't," said Emalia.

"Oh," said Kevin.

"I don't know why I had to kiss Howie. Ask Mercedes," said Nicole.

"Hey!" said Howie.

"No I don't really stuff," said Coreene.

"I guess that's good," said Devon.

"No I didn't really forget my clothes," said Isabella.

"Damn! I was kinda hoping that you had a disease that made you do that all the time," said A.J.

"What about you, Cassandra?" asked Kevin.

"Yeah!" said Nick

"When I said that, I was dared. But did I ever hear me say that I didn't?" said Cassandra, and she walked away with a smirk on her face.

"Damn, Nick!" said A.J.

"You're telling me!" said Nick.

"We have to get them back!" whispered Brian.

That night, when all the girls were in their nightgowns, they all walked out of the house and stood in a line on the edge of the pool. Mercedes turned on the patio light.

"Well, the note said to do this," said Nicole, "be ready." Just then, the patio light turned off and they jumped. "Be ready to grab them," Nicole whispered.

Then they heard deep, screaming sounds and saw dark figures running towards them all. The figures ran right at them and pushed them. Before falling into the pool, each girl grabbed their assailants and took them down with them. The light turned on, and they all looked at each other.

"Nick!"

"Brian!"

"A.J.!"

"Kevin!"

"Jonathan!"

"Devon!" They all said.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" asked Nicole.

"We were trying to get you guys back, but I guess that it backfired on us!" said Brian.

"Well, you guessed right!" said Mercedes.

"How could you, Nick?" said Cassandra. "What did you have to get me back for?"

"Um, nothing, I guess. I just felt left out."

"Oh," said Cassandra.

They all went in, changed out of their wet clothes, and Mercedes put all of the clothes into the dryer.

"They'll be done in the morning," said Mercedes. The guys thanked them, and headed back to their house, laughing on their way there.

"I can't believe them!" said Nicole.

"I don't know why Nick had to get me back for anything," said Cassandra.

"You heard him," said Isabella laughing, "he felt left out!"

"Whatever, Isabella. I'm going to bed," said Cassandra.

"Yeah, me too," the rest of them agreed.

Early the next morning, the doorbell rang. Cassandra appeared to be the only one that had heard it. She got up and looked around to see if anyone else would get it, but no one else was awake.

"I'll get it. Don't you guys get up," she said to the open space. She lazily dragged herself downstairs and to the door. "It better not be the guys," she thought. When she opened the door, she saw a tall man, and well built, holding flowers.

"Is Isabella here?" he said.

"Oh my God, it's you. What are you doing here?" said Cassandra.
