ANSWERS TO THE QUESTION
Name: Gerard Aksomitis
Date: Nov. 25/98
Answer: I think the answer is Fuchi and
the experiments they are doing is putting cyberware implants into
paranormal creatures thank you and good night.
Brimber's Comment: Not too shabby there
Gerard, that is an interesting hypothesis. Unfortunately, you are
wrong on both accounts. Better luck next time, and this comment
should help narrow down the answer for some.
Name: Two Bad-A$$ed Shadowrun Players
Date: Feb. 14/99
Answer: The dragon bar tenderd is actually a
hermetc mage, researching advanced illusionary spell, in which he makes
his aura appear to be that of a western dragon. As for who is behind it,
any Magic group or corporation with primarilly magical interests could be
funding this research. Such organizations would include Aztechnology,
Mitzuhamma, or illuminates of the new dawn. Well thats it chummer.
Brimber's Comment: Interesting idea there guys,
but it is incorrect. Ok, let me give some hints that may help out. First
of all, the dragon is real but there is a secret about him, and about the
people or organization responsible for the funding of the Dragon's Lair, it
is an old company that has been secretly resurrected (we know it is not
Fuchi thanks to Gerard).
Name: Lando Calrissian
Date: Feb. 15/99
Answer: I think that the dragon's name is Puff
and he lives in a magical fairy land call Faralee. In his free time he
likes to eat little kids named Timmy and run his bar where he caters to
depressed dwarfs and wendigos. He also likes the oldies group named DEVO.
By the way, just so you don't think I'm a completed moron I think it was
Lofwyr's brother from the novel Night's Pawn by Tom Dowd and that the
company is Der Nachtmachen.
Brimber's Comment: DEVO eh chummer? Well I
highly doubt there are any Timmies related to this dragon, but upon
reading your second (and more reasonable assumption) I would have to say...
EEEENNNNNNNNHHHHHHHHH!!! Wrong! That is the first guess I have gotten
about anything related to the novels, but unfortunately I have not
had the pleasure of reading any of them. So that is another BIG hint, the
answer does not lie in any novel (well I guess it could since I wouldn't
know), but the main point is I didn't get anything from the novels. So,
the dragon is not Lofwyr's brother, and the company is not Der Nachtmachen.
But, you still did not come up with an idea for the "experiments" taking
place in the Dragon's Lair. Better luck next time!
