WEAPON OF THE MONTH
Weapon: Beretta 200st
Pro's: Ok, here is one of my absolute favorites,
this light pistol has the potential to become common place amoung a
shadowrunners life. First of all, I know what your all saying, "but Brimber,
its a light pistol, those bearly put a scratch in a Eurocar's paint job".
Well guys, I got news for you, a damn light pistol ain't suppose to be fired
at a car. This weapon is fairly easy to conceal with a concealed holster,
and a long coat. Also this weapon has burst fire capability, with a
built in shoulder stock to provide some recoil for those of you with
toothpick arm syndrome. Plus the incredible 26 round magazine will
make sure your never short on ammo when it counts. Combined with caseless
ammo, you can get the clip to well over 30 shots, and then you might want
to even consider armor piercing ammo or some explosive rounds for some
extra punch. This weapon can usually be aquired within a day at your local
fence dealers.
Con's: The only thing about this gun is that
alone, it is just a light pistol, but with the right attachments, this
baby hums!
PREVIOUS WEAPON OF THE MONTH
Weapon: Stun Baton
Pro's: One of the less used melee combat
weapons mainly associated with law enforcement; for a reason. Those
coppers know that this weapons is very effective, because upon
striking an opponent, it not only does the physical damage, but also
gives off an electrical shock that disorientates the victim. So what
if you can't drop him with one swing, like a sword or polearm, he
is going to have target numbers coming out the wahzoo! He will have
the physical damage modifiers plus the electrical shock modifiers,
so after one or two hits, even a Bruce Lee wannabe is not going to
be swinging back very good.
Con's: If you're up against a troll in
melee, chances are you may end up holding the stun baton in a very
awkward place.
PREVIOUS WEAPON OF THE MONTH
Weapon: Savalette Guardian
Pro's: I believe this is the best Heavy
Pistol(HP) around for several reasons. First off, the Savelette
Guardian has the ability to go burst fire, perfect for those who are
strong enough to handle the little bit of recoil, or those with a
cyberarm gryomount hehe. It also has a sufficient amount of ammo
in the clip to last a couple rounds of burst fire or alot longer with semi
auto. Another benefit is that it provides a bit of recoil compensation
for this pathetically weak people out there. The Savalette Guardian
also comes with an integrated smartlink system, thats pretty impressive.
And it can be concealed about as well as an Ares Predator. All in all,
this could become the common gun you might find yourself in the sights
of on the streets, or even the new toy for the corp guards.
Con's: I hear that if the gun gets banged
around the smartlink system acts up a little bit, so don't be
expecting technology to do all the work for you!
