I remember being contacted by angels and spirits from the Otherworld as a child, but didn't understand what it was about. Much of my fear had to do with my feelings of unworthiness and fear of being contacted by some powerful evil that might hurt me. It wasn't until the early 1990s that I learned the true nature of these voices and visions I experienced as a child. Several teachers helped me to understand and accept these experiences. I also learned to discern between messages coming from a loving source and those from sources not in my best interest.
Spirit guides began calling me Lightwalker from the very first...more as a designation of who I am and how I got here, rather than some sort of "star" or "soul" name. Lightwalker is a term of endearment, of spirit "family" connection, similar to calling someone "my child" or "mi hija."
So I have adopted Lightwalker as my "nombre del espiritu" and as a reminder to myself to walk lightly. It is so easy to get caught up in the dense energies of the third dimensional world.
Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly.
