PETER GEORGE MARR NOTES
Peter G. Marr was born November 21st 1849, in Toronto, Canada. At the age of one and one-half years, he accompanied his parents to Iowa and later to Nebraska, arriving in Burt County in October 1862, settling on the Arizona bottoms where he has resided continuously, following the occupation of farming. He has been very successful and is now the owner of many acres of the fertile land which surrounds his early home in this county. For many years, the people of his school district have retained him as their district treasurer.
He was united in marriage to Caroline Babbitt, November 17th, 1871, and she passing from this life, was again married October 16th, 1883, to Rosa Babbitt.
