My Corner of the World

If I could make a place to escape to,
this is where I would go.
To a place that God has touched,
and left for me to see.
In this little corner would be all
my friends dear,
and each one would see just what
God intended for them to see.
Some would see just the sun and
some the colors of the rocks,
others would only see the trees
but I would see it all.
The trees, the rocks, the sun,
the smell of the earth.
All these things combine
to make all things great and
wonderful.
So welcome to my corner of the
world where the world stops
if only for a second.
Please take a moment and enjoy
what the Lord has graced your eyes with.
