Origin of Corgan
Now we all remember
that Billy spelled his last name Corgan as Corrigan in the
PI linear notes. Now there is a reason why he spells it like
that; if you want to
know, email us. Now I did some reasearch on the current spelling
of Corgan I
found nothing; however, I did find something under Corrigan - now
this is in
no way official, I just thought it was interesting.

(1864).
On the death of the
cardinal in 1885, Corrigan automatically succeeded to the see
of New York. He soon emerged as the chelf spokesman for a
clerical
conservatism that opposed the liberal innovations suggested ny
Arichbishop Ireland
of St. Paul, Minn., and others. In New York, Corrigan expanded
the parochail
school system, stressed the primacy of scholarship, supported the
fledfling U. S.
Catholic Historical Society, and built a major seminary in
Yonkers, N. Y. He dies

Here is another little thing I
found. Now, I was thinking of more things to
research and I though more in depth of what I could look up. Well
I though
more about Billy and then I thought of Chris. So then I looked up
