I began this page on March 10, 2007CE. Why? Because I wanted a space that fit with the current stage of my life. My previous page, Alina Shea seemed to have evolved into the business side of my life. Since so many new personal experiences were happening, I wanted to have a place to express that.
The name Shayla Myst is the one I chose for myself when I began learning about Paganism in earnest. It includes elements I feel an affinity for, as well as traits I wanted to cultivate in my life. I've been studying Paganism in various forms since late 1997CE and have come to consider myself "Ecclectic." Currently I am trying to find new ways to include this Spirituality in my everyday life as I continue to grow.
