Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

  1. Combine sugar, white syrup, & peanuts into saucepan.
  2. Cook till light brown in color, about 15 minutes (300 degrees on a candy thermometer).
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Baking Soda and mix well.
  5. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet
  6. Cool well
  7. When cold, tap brittle with knife handle to crack it into pieces.

This batch makes about 2 pounds of peanut brittle. Enjoy!
