Comments: Not bad for opening night! The track was rough, it took me longer than I had hoped to find the line, but in the end it all worked out. We were slow for the first 12 laps, losing about 10 carlengths to the cars running 5-7. In the last 8 laps, we gained it all back, but ran out of time to make a move of any signifigance. We'll get em next week :)

Comments: I have been going to the races since I was 8 on a weekly basis, and I have never seen such a nice track surface at Stateline!!! The heat went well, we were out front by about 10 car-lengths or so, and the yellow came out with one to go. The car was hooking up especially well, and I felt as though I could bring it in low or high, low was certainly faster for me. As for the feature, we started 6th, I was working on the 17 car, and got tangled up with him and ended up into the wall in the back-stretch...not a good place to be! I got back out in 12th, and worked my way back up to 7th. Not allot of damage, although I found a broken shock on the RR, explaining a late race handling problem. We'll get em next week

Comments: Not a bad run for the first night at Eriez...no broken axles, housing tubes, or shocks, a definite improvement upon prior opening night performances! The track wasn't bad, a bit grainy, and I couldn't tell how much moisture was in the track, making the tire selection difficult. We weren't too far off, although I hope we make a better choice for next week. It took me some time to find the line, but managed to find it near the end. We had a minor setback at mid race when the 57 car tagged me and sent me around in turn 1, but I managed to get back up to 7th. The most fun of the night was racing door to door with John Lobb for about 5 laps. We'll get em next week!

Comments: This was our first non top ten finish of the year. I was entering turn one and lost control on the first lap, putting me 8 laps down with no chance of a top ten. I think we would have had a good run, as I came from 3rd to 5th with the drop of the green. We need all the luck we can get for the championship race...we'll get em next week!
