When I was passed for the lead last may in the Bear Lake Inn championship race at Stateline Speedway on lap 8, I was both happy and dissapointed. Dissapointed because I probably wasn't going to get that 5ft. trophy, but happy because it was Mark Joy hat passed me en-route to his first ever feature victory!
Mark is responsible for the inseption of the 100 lapper.....which will probably be called the Mark Joy Memorial 100 someday..huh? Mark has been a friend of the Catania family for years, both on and off the track, so I feel it is my duty to make sure that Mark stays in the Stateline & Eriez racing circles. I will have him comment from time to time on the happenings at Stateline and Eriez, as well as any other issue that Mark would like to talk about. From Impeachment to the Daytona 500, to the crisis in Kosovo, Mark Joy has an opinion, and is considered our resident expert!
