Conflict "in the venue" CD
almost a full 70 minute long CD of material from Conflict, recorded live at the Venue in London in 1994. Sound quality is really good and they play all the old favorites like "from protest to resistance", "the serenade is dead", "increase the pressure", "the ungovernable force", along with some of the newer songs like "climbing the stairs" and others. $4

Conflict "and now you've put your foot in it" CDEP
the newest release from Conflict featuring 2 new songs, one of which deals with Foot and Mouth Disease and the other about the need for activism and resistance to occur on all levels. Sound wise this takes the same styles of older Conflict material and adds a bit of a more Crass type style to it as well. The Cd includes a fold out insert with lyrics and information as well as a bunch of full color photos from the WTO and from the Foot and Mouth Disease "clean up" in Europe. $4

Fallas del Sistema "globalicemos la resistencia" 7"
powerful and catchy anarchopunk from Mexico with multiple vocalists and a very string conviction to activism and solidarity. Lyrics deal with issues such as the need to globalize the resistance against capitalism, anti-militarism, ecocide, and more. As with their other releases, this comes with a really nice fold out cover with lyrics and writings (in both Spanish and English) plus lots of pictures. Fallas is quickly becoming a very well known band around the world and with releases like these its easy to see why! $4

Kakistocracy/Authority Abuse split 7"
Kakistocracy follow up their debut 7" with this new split and their sound has progressed a lot since the first 7". It still has all the anger and rage to it with the fast parts but they have added a second guitar now, giving it a fuller sound and a somewhat melodic metal feeling at points. The vocals are stronger than ever, with more throaty-ness to them which really makes it impacting. On this split they give two songs, one dealing with the Olin Corp and their take over, and eventual gutting of a town in VA. and they also do an awesome cover of the Resist song "all wrong"! Authority Abuse features members of Kung Fu Rick and play a style of hardcore that brings to mind bands like CR and Negative Approach. Lyrics are political with a personal touch. $4

Oi Polloi "global dissent" Video
a 36 minute punk documentary filmed during Oi Polloi's European tour in 1994. This is really less of a band video and more of a political punk documentary, giving insight into the different political happenings going on throughout Europe during the time of Oi Polloi's tour. There are interviews with different activists, footage of different demonstrations, from some of the squats that they stayed in and more which makes this a very inspiring and motivating video. There is some live footage of Oi Polloi, as well as a few songs played throughout the video. A must see film! $6

Parental Advisory/Reltih split LP
Parental Advisory is an anarchist atheist band from Brazil that lets loose a full onslaught of crust/grind insanity on their side. Pure speed and power with alternating vocalists in a style that reminds me a bit of Monster X with more complex song structures. Amazing! Reltih are from Portugal and play a really chaotic style of grinding crust with alternating vocalists and some guest vocals from members of the band Simbiose as well! This record includes a small booklet with lyrics and info from both of the bands as well. $8

Slug and Lettuce #69, Why Vegan? booklet, plus a bunch of other political leaflets...all available FREE upon request with orders. Check the zines section for the full list.

Abstain/Nasum split 7"
Abstain lay down 3 tracks of their style of hardcore crust with a sound that reminds me a lot of Disrupt. Their lyrics cover the use of god to justify war, the media, and the stupidity of gorecore bands. Nasum rip their way through 8 songs on their side with a punchy and powerful sound that very few bands can match. You can hear a lot of different influences going into this, (crust, grind, blackmetal, hardcore, etc.) but it all comes together in such an awesome form of just sheer brutality with a pounding bass, intense drumming and great vocal work as well. Their lyrics are a bit more apocalyptic and mainly cover issues such as religion and the destruction of the earth. $4

Instinct of Survival s/t 7"
this is an 18 song 7", which should give you a good idea of the structure of the songs on this - fast and furious with a few pounding slow/heavy parts. Multiple vocalists that trade off between a deep growling voice and a higher, raspy screamed voice with lyrics covering issues of sexism, the uneven distribution of food and wealth, religion, new world order, and much more! $4

Migra Violenta "hc crust" CD
oh man does this rule! a full on attack of political hc thrash from Argentina with a huge amount of intensity. At point this reminds me of Los Crudos, especially the vocal work. This CD comes with a nice booklet with lyrics in both Spanish and English translations covering issues such as police violence, xenophobia, globalization, land theft and much more. This CD also includes a multimedia video of Migra Violenta playing live that you can play on your computer. To say that this is an inspirational release would be an understatement! $8

Remains of the Day "an underlying frequency" LP
This is a VERY impressive second release from this Portland based band. If you got their self released 7" a while back then you know how good this band is. Somehow, on this new release, they've gotten even better. The music is tight as can be and packs such an intensity that I can't even begin to describe it. They've also added a violin player as well which adds an amazingly erie element to the songs. I can see similarities to some bands such as Born Dead Icons and From Ashes Rise, but this still keeps its own style as well and delivers itself in such a moving way. $8

Coprofilia "ten years for what? a documentary history" CD
a 23 song discography CD documenting the last 10 years of Coprofilia's existance, including songs from demos. 7"s, some new songs, as well as some lost material. Includes a big booklet with lyrics in both Spanish and English. Musically Coprofilia is solid punk rock that mixes in elements of thrash with extremely political lyrics covering tons of issues belted out by angry vocals. This is a 100% DIY release and is an awesome documentation of this band's history. $7

Desobediencia Civil "no hay libertad sin desobediencia" LP
great anarchopunk with male and female vocalists from Mexico. 18 songs, including a Doom cover, with highly political lyrics covering issues such as animal liberation, racism, political prisoners, social revolution, and much more. Comes with a really nice gatefold cover and includes lyrics in Spanish and with English translations. Another inspiring release from this awesome band. $7

Hydrophobia/Disturbio a la Corrupcion split 7"
hydrophobia is raw and chaotic crust/grind with insane fast drumming and dual vocalists. Song topics include issues such as equality. anti-war/militarism, anti-circus, political prisoners, and more. Disturbio a la Corrupcion play brutal grind with a ton of energy and really powerful breaks. Lyrics cover issues such as oppression in Africa, povery, AIDS/HIV, and more. A great pairing of two awesome bands from Guadalajara, Mexico. $4

Lesser of Two Tape
Highly political hardcore punk with male and female vocalists that totally defines their own sound. You can hear influence from older political hardcore bands like Struggle but its mixed up with really melodic parts and then straight out anarchopunk and crust parts as well. The two vocalists work really well together as well. Comes with a fold out tape cover with lyrics in both English and Spanish as well as essays on global destruction and the need for social advancement. $2

V/A "Resistencia en Los Angeles"
This is a great tape comp featuring all Spanish speaking political bands from Los Angeles, CA. Included on the comp are the bands Subsistencia (driving anarchopunk with female/male vocalists), Kontraattaque (fast and powerful thrash with deep vocals), Fronterrorizmo (amazing hard crust/anarchopunk with female and male vocalists), Tezacrifico (brutal hardcore with dual vocalists), and Ruido (fast as fuck hardcore). This is a great sampling of some of the really amazing bands that have been coming out of Los Angeles over the last few years that put a heavy focus on building strong and active diy communities and stress the importance of making punk not only be a countercultural, but multicultural movement as well. $2

Abuso Sonoro "herencia" LP
Brazilian thrashers Abuso Sonoro are back with a new relase and this is totally intense. Musically it packs more of a punch than their previous releases with a lot more brutal style and solid song structure. The lyrics are as political as ever, and delivered with such conviction by both female and male vocalists. Abuso Sonoro is an amazing bands, not only because they play great music but also because they actual live the politics that they sing about in their songs. This is definately a band that deserves to be supported. $8

Armistice "new" 7"
the newest 7" release from this amazing band from Wilmington, Ca. with an even more intense sound than that of the fast and heavy hardcore punk that was delievered on their split 7" with Flux of Disorder. Lyrics cover topics such as endless struggle, blind faith, the armed forces, nuclear power, and conditioning through media. $4

Armistice/Ciril split LP
a great new offering from Armistice that takes their sound to a completely new level. It still has all the fast rage that it always has, but now it seems that there is more time put into writing the songs, with a bit more complicated structure and writing style and some really moving melodic breaks that make this release stand out from all their previous recordings. This also includes the song "words of war" which is one of my favorite Armistice songs ever and featres Patty doing the vocal work as well! Ciril is a crazy wierd band from Long Beach with wierd ass lyrics about domination rioting and other stuff like that. In a lot of ways they remind of early Bay Area stuff like the Blatz but in a lot of ways they don't...I don't know...crazy stuff. $7

Dregs of Humanity/Nihilist split LP
Holy shit! I wasn't expecting this at all. Dregs of Humanity are a full onslaught of metal mastery complete with heavy double bass drumming, awesome guitar melody, and intense alternating vocalists. You can hear the punk sound in there still, with some Amebix and Dystopia styles leaking through, but mostly this is just intense stuff that anyone into death/black metal would love. Don't expect the usual rediculous lyrics that most black metal bands have though, Dregs of Humanity throw down some really good lyrics on subjects such as vegetarianism, marriage, computers and religion, the loss of nature and more. Nihilist play a more crusty style with some really heavy riffs. They actually remind a lot of Drop Dead and have both personal and political lyrics in their songs. They even throw down a Poison Idea cover too! $8

Misery/Extinction of Mankind "apocalyptic crust" split CD
This was a long time in the making and is everything that it was anticipated to be. Misery lay down more of their Amebix style crust with slow and haunting music that rages at just the right times. If you've liked their previous material then you will be extremely happy with this. Extinctin of Mankind deliver on their material as well, with the dirgy hardcore style that they have played in the past that draws influence from bands like Antisect and Amebix and adds its own flair to it. This is such an appropriate pairing of two bands from opposite ends of the globe. $8

Remains of the Day "an underlying frequency" CD
This is a VERY impressive second release from this Portland based band. If you got their self released 7" a while back then you know how good this band is. Somehow, on this new release, they've gotten even better. The music is tight as can be and packs such an intensity that I can't even begin to describe it. They've also added a violin player as well which adds an amazingly erie element to the songs. I can see similarities to some bands such as Born Dead Icons and From Ashes Rise, but this still keeps its own style as well and delivers itself in such a moving way. The CD also includes all the tracks from their self released 7" as well. $8

Victim "no salvation" 7"
Female and Male vocals scream out over dark and heavy music with a punk influence from the Rhode Island based band Victim. Their sound is really well defined and orginal with lots of breakdowns and some cool melodic parts in just the right places. Lyrics are all political and done with a more poetic touch to them covering issues such as racism, mankind's callousness to everything but it's own existence, the atrocities of war, and the death of a friend. The cover includes lyrics to all the songs and folds out to make a big poster. $4
