• 1. At Player Select Screen, highlight X.
• 2. Press Circle twice.
• 3. Press Left on the control pad 6 times.
• 4. Hold L1 and R2 and press Start.

Make your way to Web Spider's stage. Locate Dr. Light's capsule which is to the right of the first ladder part in Area 1. Instaed of recieving the boots, X recieves a new message from the Dr, and is given all the parts to his ULTIMATE armor (Weapon Charge, Armor, Helmet, Boots) as well as the Dr. saying something about a new attack which only occurs when the wings are open(?). (The new attack is not the Nova Strike, which you would get anyway in the game, but you do get this at this point.) Zero's Black Armor

• 1. At Player Select Screen, highlight Zero.
• 2. Hold R1 and press Right 6 times on the control pad.
• 3. Let go of R1, hold the Circle button, and press Start.

There is no noticable difference between the black and red armor (at least not while I was playing).
