'97 Pinnacle Inside Set
In September of 1997, Pinnacle Trading Card Co. released the first and only set of trading cards for the Inaugural season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The cards came packaged in what resembled 17 different soup cans that featured two players from each team on their own can, as well as an all team WNBA can. The common set contained 10 cards for each of the eight teams and one checklist card. The common set also had two parallel sets, the court and executive set which were increasingly difficult to complete. There were also the Team Development and My Town eight card sets, which featured one player from each of the inaugural teams. I have scanned and displayed all the card within my collection onto this site. Be warned that the larger sets may take a while to download. Enjoy!
