It has been a long time since Ash, Pikachu, and their friends last seen Nina.
Since then Brock has also left the group and were joined by the Pokemon Watcher,
Tracy. Ash and his Pokemon have also won the greatest title in the Orange League. The
group of trainers is now on their way back to Pallet town with Professor Oak’s
mysterious GS ball, however they are making a short layover in Cerulean City.
Level One-Hundred PoKeMoN
As the citizens of Cerulean City go about their busy day what appears to be an eclipse begins to block out the sun. Everyone begins to take notice as the large sphere begins to grow larger as it descends upon the city. Those closest to the phenomenon start to see that it is not the moon blocking the sun but a large cluster of Pokemon. Ash, Misty, and Tracy hear of the Pokemon who have invaded Cerulean as they leave Pewter City. Walking down the path to Misty’s hometown, Pikachu knows very well what is waiting for him. All the Pokemon can think is, ”Not much farther.” The following day the streets of Cerulean are deserted. All of the people have been rounded up, and are being marched out of town by several Magneton. From the middle of the line Violet jumps out with a Pokeball as she says, “Dewgong, Headbutt!” Daisy tries to stop her, but the Pokemon is already released and heads at one of the Magneton guards. The electric Pokemon turns around slowly and catches Dewgong by the horn with its magnet like its attack were nothing. Throwing it to the ground, the guard Pokemon builds up a Thunderbolt attack as Violet’s Pokemon lies there helpless. Just as it attacks Staryu comes down pulling Dewgong from the electricity’s path. The resulting blast kicks up a cloud of dust, and as it settles Ash and friends come walking up. Lily exclaims, “Misty, you came!” Ash looks to the group of Magneton as he asks, “What are you doing here?” The guard Pokemon do not respond as an even larger group of Magneton appear. The trainers release Charizard and Scyther as Misty tells the electric Pokemon, “Let these people go.” From out of the crowd Lily tells the guard Pokemon, “You should do as they say. Misty, Ash, and Tracy are some of the strongest trainers there are!” “We don’t want to fight a pointless battle. Let these people go, and leave this town,” Ash commands with complete confidence. Still not responding, more and more Magneton arrive. Finally a voice calls out, “So, we finally meet again, Ash.” Ash, Misty, and their Pokemon are surprised to hear the voice as a bright and shining metal Pokemon makes his way through the army of Magneton. Its metal body gleams like polished silver under the hot sun as it comes to the front of the electric Pokemon. All of the trainers look long and hard at the magnificent Pokemon standing there as tall as they are. Misty finally says, “You’re... Missingno!” “It can’t be!” Ash almost yells. Tracy asks, “I thought you guys had destroyed him?” At the same time Pikachu thinks back to that huge battle that occurred on Cinnabar Island. “Get ready to use a Lunar Crusher!” Nina’s Pokemon sits on its haunches all the while building up more energy with its forepaws at one side. Levy shouts, “No, Missingno will not be beat like this! Take that little rat out with a Hydro Pump!” Two huge currents shoot from its shoulder turrets just as Katsumi motions forward with both its paws. From over Katsumi’s shoulder a large blast of red energy in the shape of a feline head streaks forward. The two attacks connect and hold each other back as Levy tells her Pokemon, “Now hit em’ with maximum power!” The increased current almost overwhelms the feline Pokemon’s own beam except a small ball just in front of it holding back the entire tide. “Katsumi, Lunar Crusher times two!” With a loud, “Rowr!” the new attack completely engulfs the water attack and Missingno, lighting up the entire room. From outside, the whole cliff lights up as the Lunar Crusher pours out of the double doors carrying Missingno with it. “But I was not completely destroyed,” Missingno tells the trainers. “I was able to rebuild myself thanks to the stored technology in Cerulean cave that Team Rocket left behind. I have also powered myself up as well.” With a puzzled expression Tracy asks, “Cerulean Cave?” “I had intended on tracking you trainers down and destroying you, but this makes it even easier for me,” the metal-bird Pokemon says in a cocky tone. Misty replies flatly, “You mean it makes it easier for us.” All of the Magneton shoot forward as Ash yells, “Here they come!” Charizard, Scyther, and Staryu jumps forward ready to fight the enemy. Before Staryu can manage an attack, one the Magneton Tackles the Pokemon into a boulder. Scyther looks back at his fallen partner as three of the Magneton come down at him.
