The following day in Lavender Town, the trainer and three Pokemon enter the
hall which holds Misty captive.
“Enough games, Ash Ketchum! You let me go this instant!”
The young trainer stands at the balcony of the hall with four of his Pokemon. His
normal ensemble has changed to black jeans, a white shirt, an open black sleeveless dress
shirt and a black cap. “But Misty, the game is coming to an end. Once Nina arrives, then
I can do away with her and become the greatest trainer on Earth. I’ll have no equal! My
reign as a Pokemon Master will last forever!”
The trainer and his Pikachu turn back to enter the hall as his three other mouse
Pokemon follow chanting, “Go, Ash! Go, Ash!”
Just after, Nina and her Katsumi hop up onto the balcony as the girl yells, “Let
Misty Go!”
The three Pokemon begin chanting, ”Let Misty Go! Let Misty Go!” until
they finally realize that someone has arrived behind them. The gang of Pokemon quickly
turn around ready to fight.
“Ah, Nina. You’ve finally come!” Ash says in an inviting tone.
The female trainer just stares Ash down until she asks, “Where is Misty? Is she in
there?”
Neither trainer or Pikachu replies, like they are waiting for a different response.
Seeing now that Ash does not intend to respond, Nina eyes her right as Avery
looks to her left. The pair nod at each other, and take off in opposite directions. Circling
around the Pokemon and trainer, Nina and her Katsumi quickly make their way into the
Pokemon Tower’s hall.
”Hurry! Go after them!” the small Pichu shouts to the other Pokemon.
The female trainer and her feline Pokemon make it to the center of the hall as
they call out for Misty. Before they can go any further, the small Pichu cuts them off and
addresses the pair.
”If you want to get to the girl, then you’ll have to go through us!”
Avery tries to shake off the Pokemon by faking a right movement, but abruptly
switching left. It gets rid of Pichu, however Marill is not deceived, cutting into the
feline’s path. In a third attempt, the Katsumi leaps straight up trying to make it to the
catwalk that hangs above the hall. Before she can reach it, Raichu lands on the platform
leaving Nina’s Pokemon no choice but to rebound off the catwalk and try to get away.
From Avery’s blind side, Pichu Tackle’s the Katsumi as Marill and Raichu latch
onto her forearms. To avoid being slammed, Nina’s Pokemon rotates its paws around to
break free. All three Pokemon land safely from the attack, and the feline Pokemon
instantly moves into a set of back flips to get some distance from her opponents.
“I guess we’ll have to fight the three of them after all,” Nina tells her Katsumi.
The Pichu makes a little laugh and yells, “Pichu!” and the other Pokemon join in.
	“Marill!”
	“Rai-chu!”
All three Pokemon grow dark while initiating the Black Power-Up thus
increasing their individual strength by folds.
“Aw, jeez,” Nina says not trying to sound worried. “Who knows how much more
stronger or faster they just got. Be careful, Avery!”

The newly Black Pokemon begin to run at Nina’s own Pokemon who stands
there in a fighting pose ready to take them on. Pichu arrives first with a speedy elbow,
which Avery has no problem blocking. It’s next Mega punch is countered just as easily.
Seeing that the electric type’s attack’s are not fast enough, the Katsumi stops blocking
and begins to duck and weave through Pichu’s following punches.
All too soon, Marill and Raichu close in with their own attacks. The feline does
its best to stop all three Black Pokemon’s forward advances by blocking or dodging. All
the while, Avery’s mind is going a mile a minute.
“Jump away from the oncoming punch. Raise that left paw to block that attack
from above. Quick! Fist to block on the right. Throw that paw up to stop another punch
from above. Spin with the left to catch that punch on the right. Turn back and block
again with the left to stop that Mega kick.”
The mouse Pokemon finally surround the feline, using individual attacks, and
circling at the same time.
Not too far away, Nina is telling her Pokemon everything she sees in case the
Katsumi misses anything. “A knee on the right! Punch to your back! Tackle to your
left!”
Despite all of this, the feline is not fast enough to stop the barrage, letting the last
Tackle crash into her side. Avery is sent flying across the hall until it smacks face-first
into a stone pillar.
“Avery, are you all right?” Nina asks, still not trying to sound alarmed.
The Katsumi nods quickly, and wipes the pain out of its nose as it inhales slowly.
	”All right, lets dance!”
The group of Black Pokemon run to the center of the hall, and jump into the air
waiting for their opponent. Just as the feline hops up to join them, the group begins
circling as they come down ready to attack.
“Avery will not be beaten by the same technique twice in one day!” Nina
declares.
The Katsumi goes straight to the center of the circling Pokemon and begins
stopping all of their attacks right away. Avery spins in a circle to match the attacking
group as she blocks the furry of attacks, with the mouse Pokemon flashing by. Eyeing
calmly left and right while continuing to spin, the feline knows that she cannot simply go
on blocking like this forever.
From below, Avery hears, “Elbow straight back!”
The attack hits Marill across the side of its face.
“Mega Punch in front of you!”
Raichu is struck dead center in the face as well.
	“Mega Kick to your left!”
The Katsumi spins around gracefully knocking Pichu back to the ground with the
attack. Marill flies right into another pillar, and falls to the ground. Raichu is knocked
into the catwalk falling to the floor like its partners.
Nina walks over to the fallen Pichu questioning, “Where’s Misty?”
Above the trainer, both Marill and Raichu stand back on the catwalk building up
projectile attacks. The Katsumi gives out a loud “Mowr!” but Nina only has time enough
to turn around and see the Bubble Beam and Thunderbolt attacks hurdling at her.
The young trainer ducks down covering her head as two other projectile attacks
knock away the ones which were only a few feet away. The female trainer gets back up
and looks around to see who saved her. Nina finally sees another Marill and its trainer
standing in front of one of the entrances to the hall.
	“Tracy!”
“Hey, Nina. Why didn’t you tell me about any of this?”
While the Pokemon Watcher walks over to the trainer, Nina asks, “Hey. If your
Marill stopped the Bubble Beam, then who stopped the Thunderbolt?”
Right after the question, the trainer’s ears pick up a familiar voice. “It looks like
you could use some help.”
From behind Tracy, Skripter and Magik walk slowly into the hall.
	“Skripter!” Nina exclaims.
”Magik!” the Pichu says taken by surprise.
Having seen Skripter walk in behind him, Tracy dashes behind Nina not trusting
the other trainer.
“Don’t worry, Nina. I didn’t come here to help you,” Skripter starts out. “Magik
and I have a score to settle with these three.”
All three mouse Pokemon are standing on the catwalk staring down at the latest
guests in the Pokemon Tower as they strike fighting stances.
