In one of the uppermost levels of Pokemon Tower, Skripter and Magik both
arrive with Ash and Pikachu awaiting them. “Ketchum,” the trainer calls out. “When I’m
done with you, you’ll beg me to finish you off. I’ll leave you in shambles. You’ll have all
your Dark Power, and it’ll be helpless to save you.” Soon after, Nina and Avery run in
after the older trainer calling out his name.
In his normal confident tone, Ash tells them all, “Look at you two. Skripter and
Nina, here to take on a fight you have no chance of winning. It’s truly pitiful.” The dark
trainer motions quickly forward as he says, “Pikachu, power-up.”
The small yellow Pokemon stands there heavily concentrating with the other two
trainers eyeing him closely. Nina remarks, “That power. It’s enough to make my hair
stand on end.”
In a blinding flash, it looks like the electric Pokemon evolves while it quickly
grows twice its size. Right away, the Pokemon is over taken by the Black Power-up
causing the Pikachu to turn glassy black and emanate an electric orange aura.
Both Avery and Magik stand side by side, not knowing what to do in response to
this new transformation. The next thing the felines know, Pikachu is hurling himself at
the pair leaving them to quickly block.

“Look out!” Skripter yells out while the electric type’s oncoming double
clothesline is blocked by both Pokemon. The next second, the black Pokemon is behind
the Katsumi, striking them in the back with his elbows.
“Thunderbolt,” Ash says in a low tone.
“Here comes another attack!” Nina shouts.
Both feline Pokemon leap away and separate, as Ash’s Pokemon turns around
with a devastating Thunderbolt.
Magik comes running up again as his trainer calls out, “Mega Punch!”
The electric type raises up one forepaw, stopping the full force of the attack with
no real effort.
	“Furry Attack!”
Magik goes on with a barrage of well place punches, but each is stopped by
Pikachu’s newfound speed. Finally, Skripter’s Pokemon lands a punch into the black
Pokemon’s chest, but the Pokemon takes it like it were just a tap.
“Mega Punch,” Ash continues in the same tone.
The Katsumi is forced to block as hard as he can to stop the oncoming attack
which almost knocks him off of his feet.
“Furry Attack!” Nina yells to Avery.
The female Katsumi cuts in between Magik and Pikachu landing a similar hail of
punches all across the electric type’s torso.
	“Counter,” Ash beckons.
Now, Avery’s offense turns to pure defense as it is forced to dodge all of
Pikachu’s furry of punches.
	“Thunderbolt.”
In the midst of the violent punching, the black Pokemon sends out two separate
Thunderbolts, knocking the Katsumi into differing parts of the tower. Skripter and Nina
both go after their Pokemon as it looks like Pikachu vanishes.
In another room, Avery pulls herself out of the wreckage that had just made up a
wall. The feline’s ears shoot forward as she hears thundering footsteps running in her
direction. Before Nina’s Pokemon can escape, Pikachu runs at the Katsumi grabbing her
by the neck.
Magik also digs his way out of a ruined wall when he looks back to see
something white hurdling at him. Before he knows it, Skripter’s Pokemon is snatched up
as he sees Avery in Pikachu’s other paw kicking away at his arm to escape.
All three Pokemon come crashing through another wall ending up outside and
several stories up. Both Katsumi try to break free, but Ash’s Pokemon will not lessen his
grasp with the three Pokemon sailing towards the concrete ground. The dark Pokemon
drives the two felines into the street with a grinding Slam, but before the dust can settle,
the Katsumi break away from their captor. Nina and Skripter come running out as their
Pokemon make some distance from the electric type.
Ash walks slowly up as well, while addressing the trainers, “This game is getting
boring. You both should just quit. It’s clear that neither of you can win.”
“I can hardly believe how much strength Ash has put on,” Skripter comments to
Nina. “I never knew the Black Power-Up could create this kind of power.”
“Right. We had better be super careful,” the young trainer adds. Nina stoops over
her Katsumi taking off a white collar that could not be seen before. The trainer lets it fall
to the ground with a loud, “clack”. Next, Avery shoots out a red smoking aura as it turns
into Shin-Avery.
Magik glances over at the Pokemon and trainer as Skripter continues, “Weighted
collar? I guess it’s time to give it everything we’ve got.” Magik reaches to his hat and
drops it on the ground with a loud, “thud,” while he initiates his own yellow aura causing
his fur to get somewhat spiked.
“I can’t believe we’re fighting side by side again,” Nina tells the other trainer with
an excited tone.
“Stop being so carefree. I’m taking you on right after we’re done here.” At the
same time, Magik goes running at the black Pokemon with his trainer telling him,
“Slash!”
Pikachu vanishes through the arching slash, reappearing behind the feline as his
trainer says, “Mega Punch.” Magik uses his Replicat technique just in time to miss the
attack.
“Mega Kick!” Nina yells as the electric type vanishes again, and the white
Katsumi hits nothing but air.
	“Electric Punch.”
The Katsumi disappears in a cloud of smoke letting the punch crush the street she
was just standing.
“Jump Kick!” Again, Avery’s attack barely misses with the black Pokemon
disappearing.
“High Jump Kick!” It looks like Magik only kicks air, but Pikachu is pulled out
of nowhere from the attack.
“Rapid Spin!” Nina’s Pokemon flips several times in the air before it kicks the
electric type back to the street.
Both Katsumi close in as their trainers shout, “Furry Attack!” The two Pokemon
begin to thrash Pikachu’s torso, and the trainers go on with “Twin Tackle!” The Katsumi
begin plowing into Ash’s Pokemon ready for the next command.
To finish it, Skripter and Nina shout, “Raging Destroyer!” and “Lunar Crusher!”
Still shoving their target back, the two felines start to build up their individual
attacks. After no time at all, Avery and Magik combine their techniques into one beam,
blasting Pikachu down the street, and causing a colossal explosion. Nina’s and Skripter’s
Pokemon turn back to ordinary Katsumi as they pant heavily for breath.
Just after, Ash comes running past the two Pokemon calling out, “NO!
PIKACHU!”
Nina walks up to her Pokemon next, picking Avery up and telling everyone,
“Wow! I can’t believe won!”
Just a ways off, the young trainer begins to hear Ash sobbing, “pikachu... please!
Say something!”
The female trainer’s joy is cut short when she says lowly, “I was hoping it
wouldn’t have to come to this...”
Ash still clutches his Pokemon close when he hears the lowest, “-pi-”.
The young trainer’s face lights up as he yells, “Pikachu! You’re going to be all
right! I’ll get you to a Pokemon center as fast as I can!”
Magik rejoins his trainer as Skripter scoffs, “Little brat! He should be so lucky.”
