I've seen Buddy Guy perform live five times now, but the most memorable time was at his 59th birthday party at his Legends club in Chicago. I had arrived there about 10 PM and had to wait outside because the club was filled to capacity; of course, real blues fans realize that the "real" stuff happens late into the night, so I was hoping for some novices to head out early. Sure enough some did, so I gained entrance. . .
