Their next single is also said to be "You're the Bomb." It should be out around August 14th. You can hear a little bit of this song if you by the single, "Shorty."
Look out for Imajin at Hal Jackson Talented Teens at the Apollo Theatre (7/11) and The Goodwill Games (7/19).
Imajin performed on BET's Soundstage in Florida during the opening of Disney's Animal Kingdom. They performed for a media only audience which means lots of exposure for the four young men.
You have made Imajin's "Shorty" one of Blockbusters top selling CD singles and maxicassettes!
Imajin will be on a collaboration CD called Bop Boys. Their song is "I Got What You Need." The CD contains 14 tracks from international hitmakers. Bop Boys also includes: Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Aaron Carter, 911, Espen Lind, Boyzone, Kavana, G Spuad, Worlds Apart, Ant & Dec, Ricky, Peter Andre, and Steve Best. It is supposed to come out today (6/30), but I don't know if it did, so look out for it!
Imajin will begin rehearsal for their next video, "You're the Bomb" 7/5! It will be directed by Billie Woodruff!
Talib is the only member of Imajin on the internet, so if you would like to reach him or another member the address is Kareem97@aol.com.
John is not the only member with a nickname. (Jiz) Talib has a couple himself. Taaz and Lib
Imajin's video shoot for "You're the Bomb" is set for July 21st! It will probably last for 2 days! Thanx Talib for this newz!
This isn't exactly newz, but I'll let you know anyway. The members of Imajin, as you may know, are 16 (Jamal), 15 (John), 15 (Talib), and 13 (Olamide'). I've just been informed by Talib that they are in grades 11th, 11th, 11th, and 9th! (Someone must have wanted to know tha besides me!)
Talib has informed me, once again, that Imajin's producer MIGHT be getting AOL soon! This means that all 4 members will be able to go online and greet the fans just like Talib and his family has already done! Please keep in mind that he said "MIGHT."
I don't know how many of you listen to this radio program or have even heard of it, but I recently e-mailed the Countdown with Walt Baby Love regarding Imajin. It's an award winning, R&B radio show that is syndicated across the world. The show counts down the top 25 songs with the most airplay on radio stations. Here is part of their response:
". . . Regarding Imajin, they are also a very talented young group. I had the opportunity of meeting them outside the show. I know my producer, Dianna Rose, is working on getting them on the program as well. . ."
So, hopefully they'll be on this radio show soon! If you want to request Imajin to be on the radio program or just write to Walt Baby Love, here is the address: wblove@aol.com. (I don't know if "Shorty" is on the countdown right now, but on the weekend of July 4th, it was @ #19. The song may have moved down, but it has been on the countdown for awhile.)
***If you e-mail Walt Baby Love, please keep in mind that you are requesting the group Imajin be on the show and not the song "Shorty" to be on the countdown.***
As it turns out Imajin's next single might not be "You're the Bomb." They are thinking about chooisng another song entitled "No Doubt." (Thanx to Muhammad for this info!)
Imajin's video shoot for either "You're The Bomb" or "No Doubt" (the song is still undecided) has been pushed back to from July 21st (Olamide's birthday!!!!) to August 4th.
For everyone who wants to know what Olamide did for his birthday, then finish reading this. His mother threw him a surprise birthday party and according to Talib it was "bangin'!"
There is a possibility that Imajin may appear in Keith Murray's and LL Cool J's new videos.
Have you heard of new, young, Jive Records, rapper, Baby D? Well, Imajin recorded a song with him and will be featured in the video.
For all of you who missed it the first time, Imajin will be on Showtime at the Apollo 8/1 or 8/2. (The show is syndicated. This should be the repeat!)
Imajin's next single will be "No Doubt" and not "You're the Bomb." They have already begun rehearsals for the video.
The video for "No Doubt" has been successfully shot!
Unfortunately, I have some bad news for those who haven't already heard. Imajin's album release date has been pushed back to October. Their next single, "No Doubt," has to come out first and you can expect it sometime in September. So, everyone be patient, it's coming!
Imajin's new video, "No Doubt" is finally out!! IT IS NICE!!!!!!!! The song is great, the video is great, the dancing is great and Donald Faison appears in it!! ("Nina" from Cousin Skeeter on Nickelodeon is also in it.) If you haven't seen it, yet, make sure you check out Jam Zone on BET or The BOX!
There will be an Imajin concert December 12, 1998 in the New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia area (Harlem to be exact)! Tickets are selling for $10 for the 2:00pm show and $15 for the 6:00pm and 9:00pm shows. For more information contact Kimma at kimma2000@usa.net. You know this show is going to be hot! Imajin's single, "No Doubt" was supposed to come out November 6, but it might come out this week (the week of the 16th).
Olamide recently bought a laptop computer November 7th! So, look out for him online.
Imajin's next single may be called, "Keep It to Yourself."
