Jack is Windy's husband. He is very sweet, very curious and very ineffectual. I get the impression that he and Windy must have met through his fascination with Windy's fathers "works". Windy and Jack seem to have a pretty steady relationship, except when Jack gets drunk and Windy thus refuses to let him in the house. Aperantly he's very gullible too, since the older scientists only got him drunk as bait for a "trap" for Windy.
