Cleanse your space and cast your circle
and you dress a white candle with
whatever herb or oil you feel is
appropriate.
Sit quietly and meditate on the candle's flame. You might want to have soft music in the background.Make sure there is an incense burning that smells pleasant or relaxing to you.
When all you can see is the candle's flame and you feel surrounded by it picture yourself by a clear, beautiful pool of water.
See yourself in a white garment soiled
with all the pain, trauma, false
teachings, misconceptions, etc (all
things that can hold you back).
Also, see yourself shackled by the thing
you feel holds you back the most.
After taking a few deep, cleansing breaths feel the shackles fall away from you as you determine to break free from these things.
Then slowly walk into the pool of cleansing water until it covers your head.
Count to 10 and then turn and walk slowly out of the pool seeing your garment as spotless and completely clean of all the things that were there before.
When you are out of the water you are open to new teachings and feelings and unafraid to experience life. Repeat this as needed.
