My Beloved Husband, Ralph,
I started writing this page long before the terrible loss of our dear friend Pat. Then, just a short time later came the tragedies of September 11, 2001....a horrific time, needless to say, this page fell by the wayside. Today I began thinking about it again and I realized how appropriate it is to have the title of this page, "So Lucky To Be Loving You." During these times of turmoil, I realize that I am indeed so very lucky to have your love. Your strength and understanding are keeping me grounded and secure. When I feel like trembling in panic, you soothe me. When I have an urge to run and hide, you comfort me. Your steadfast resolve gives me the courage to take each day as it comes. The common sense approach you take to life...and to death, have helped show me the way through these dark times. Your love serves as my beacon, if I am lost, you are there, unflinchingly strong, you become the port into which my soul can sail for shelter. With you, I can face all of the uncertain tommorrows in sure certainty of the love we share. I am so lucky to be loving you, my dear sweet Ralph.Your wife, Laura
