Laying beside you listening to the rain, tap tap tap
Content in simply being, we sigh
We hear the sounds of the slumbering city
Sleep is slowly creeping in to overtake us
Listening to the rain tap tap tap
My eyes begin to close as I drift off to dream
Unwilling to let me go, your draw me close to you
Soft caresses in secret places enticing me
Listening to the rain, tap tap tap
You Are My Strength, I Am Your Softness
I came to you in need of healing
Through your strength and inner feeling
You freed my heart and set it reeling
You came to me with a wall built 'round
Your inner-self to keep it sound
My softness razed it to the ground
We'll build our lives on a new foundation
We've started on the excavation
Soon we'll have the dedication
A place for me, a place for you
A place for us to begin anew
Approach The Night
Come to me my darling, as night approaches
Sit beside me, hold my hand as you hold my heart
Let us seek to renew ourselves in this, our quiet time
Words are not necessary to us now, only touch
Smiling Glances
Smiling glances of sweet flirtation
Soft sweet sighs of true temptation
Smouldering touches of expectation
Sensuous ripples of captivation
Sending us to our destination
Savouring our loves' culmintaion
Special is this consummation
Spoken words of confirmation
Setting us free in exhilaration !
Souls Searching
As we began life's journey we wandered lost
We lingered in the places we thought were right
and yet, still something illusive never let us rest
Our souls were searching, for what, we knew not
We took pause, touched lives and moved on
Unrest kept us seeking, looking wondering
A feeling, a yearning, a need pushed us onward
Then, one day we came upon a new world
A place of wonder inhabited by millions,
many of them asking the same question
What is it we are searching for?
We're here to find the answers,
So welcome to our world
We spoke to them and they to us
Bonds were formed peace was approaching
The answer which had elluded us was now in plain sight
Our souls were searching for a mate, a reason, a unity
a bond, a counterpart, a truth which had been there all along
Our world had come full circle and our time had come
We found each other and in our love, we found the answers
Our search has ended now our souls can finally rest united
Our Vows At Dawn
We come together to greet a new day, the dawning of a new life
The Sun attends proudly as we face one another
Beloved, I vow to love, honor and cherish you, now and into eternity.
Time tested phrases take on a new, richer meaning
as we repeat them in the face of love.
The morning star is our witness, the earth gives away her daughter.
I come to you with the purity of these vows,
sanctified by the depth of my love for you.
My gift to you this day, is my softness and my devotion. This I vow.
We greet our father the sun with faith and truthfulness.
Beloved, I vow to love, honor and cherish you, now and into eternity.
The mountains stand tall and solid beneath our feet as our altar.
The wind sighs her blessings upon us.
