Soi : Haku Kaen

Not much is really known about Soi's family, or if she had any brothers or sisters. She was sold to a brothel at the age of 12 and was saved by Nakago from being raped. After that Soi grew devoted to Nakago and spent a few years of her life in the palace working as a palace lady (see Seiran Den for that), and eventually realizes that she is a Seiryuu Seishi when she sees her seishi sign appear on her thigh.

Soi is the only female Seiryuu seishi. She is unlike most girls; she is tough and acts like a man, but she is actually motherly and caring. She seems to show sympathy for all the Seiryuu seishi except Tomo. Soi loves Nakago and will do anything for him because he saved her from being raped when she was 12 years old. She once said that she would even sell her soul just for Nakago and she also died for him (which, I think, was one of the most memorable moments^v^). Nakago, however, doesn't seem to requite her feelings, but I think that he loves Soi, too. Hence, Soi and Tomo are rivals because both of them love Nakago. But in one episode, Soi and Tomo did work together as a team.

Soi has power over lightning. She can create thunderstorms and even electricity, just by saying, "Hakuujin Raihou!" Soi can also do bouchuu magic, which is the raising or lowering of one's ki, through, um, you know what. Once, through Tomo's help,
