So anyways, people started to filter in and that's when the commotion started. I heard some yelling from down the hall, so I went to check it out. There was a fairly large group of people in the hallway blocking the only exit from one of the rooms. In side the room was Simon and Candy man. Candy Man appeared to have a large hole in her chest.
Things were not looking good. I found out latter that Queen Titania had lured Candy Man outside, and staked him in the parking lot. To confuse matters more, our other prince Mr. McGuen who had not been within the city when Longman claimed praxis had returned to Elysium. The two princes and a few select members of the Camarilla went into a room for about an hour. One of those select few people who also attended was Simon. So, I was in charge of guarding Candy Man to make sure nothing happened to him
So, now things are starting to pick up. While I'm guarding Candy Man the Gangrel as a clan come up to me and ask that I join them for an important meeting. Remembering the last time they did this and how they thought I was Gangre, I could only imagine the stupid ideas they had come up with now so I flatly declined. That didn't seem to impress them much. They tried to pull status on me. So being that I'm much smarter than all of the Gangrel put together, I made up a huge bullshit excuse about how I was under orders from my primogen and how he had more status then them and so on. At that time I was still not recognized within the city.
So, now I've got a Gangrel following me around where ever I go, I have to watch Candy Man, and Simon is in potential danger if the two prince start fighting and things get violent. So, eventually, the meeting with the prince concludes and out walks Longman. He was no longer prince. The door closes again, and I hear a voice within my head. It's Simon. He tells me to take Candy Man and walk down the hall. As I pass the Gangrel, I am asked by Lilly (a most incompetent Gangrel) to visit with them and I was told how rude I was being to be ignoring them. Once again I started spewing stuff about how I was on clan business and how they would have to talk to my primogen. This time however, Lilly said that this too was clan business. That's when Simon appeared directly in front of me and Gave Lilly the spiel about how I was part of his clan and how I would not have any clan business with her and that she should leave me alone. Then Darrian appeared in front of me and I realized that I had disappeared under his power. So, with Simon, Darrian, and Candy man.
We regrouped, and found Jason Cain (nosferatu) and proceeded to return to see the prince. We were able to have an audience with him and Simon spoke on my behalf and told Mr. McGuen and myself that the Gangrel had plans to get me in a room alone, beat the living piss out of me, and do some sort of magical ritual, again the Gangrel are idiots and make no sense, to see if I was some gangrel who had disappeared five years ago. After hearing this, the prince did something that I could hardly believe. He asked me why I had not presented myself to him in the last while and began to lecture me how I was lucky I was still alive in his domain and began to yell at Simon in an attempt for an excuse to make him loose status. After Simon defended that, he began to tell the prince what had happened to Candy Man and asked what punishment would be given to Queen Titaina. She was removed of all status, and Candy Man had to give up two of his.
That was not the end of things however. I had to stay at Elysium so that I could be made invisible, and shown the way out of the building through a series of traps and secret doors which had been built by the Nosferatu. So Me, Cain, and Candy Man were forced to stay together and protect each other. Except Cain. He protected the rest of us. It was during this time that Simon was not around that I feared for my life the most. Lilly was following me close and Queen Titania was visible. It was then that I started to hear voices. (Darrian from Brandon was whispering out of obfuscate) I could tell that it was not from inside my head and so I assumed it must have been Queen Titaina trying to drive me mad using her Malkavian Powers. I had once experienced this before, and I had the power known as dementation explained to me. I could assume only this was the case. Fortunately, no sudden movements were made, and we managed to hold out until everyone left. Now I am living within the Warrens and I do not leave for any reason without my friends near.
