SIGNS
"We will show them Our SIGNS in the furthest regions
of the universe and in their own souls until it becomes manifest to them
that this is the truth"
(The Meanings Of The Holy Quran 41:53)
Anatomy Of The Human Skin
"Those who reject Our Signs We shall soon cast into the fire: as often
as their skins are roasted through We shall change them for fresh skins
that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power Wise"
(The Meanings Of The Holy Quran 4:56)
The outer layer of human skin, the epidermis, is only a few cells thick;
it contains pigments, pores, and ducts, and its surface is made of dead
cells that it sheds from the body. (Hair and nails are adaptations arising
from the dead cells) .The inner layer, called the dermis, contains sweat
glands, blood vessels, nerve endings (sense receptors), and the bases of
hair and nails. Separate kinds of receptors convey pressure, temperature,
and Pain.
Burns are classified by depth as first, second, and third degree. First
and second degree burns are limited to the outer layer of human skin, the
epidermis. First-degree burns cause redness and pain (e.g., sunburn). Second-degree
burns are more painful and marked by blisters (e.g., scald by hot liquid).
In third-degree burns, how ever both the epidermis and dermis are both
destroyed, and underlying tissue may also be damaged. When a burn is that
deep a victim will not feel any more pain because the nerve endings, pain
receptors, which are located in the upper part of the dermis layer are
completely destroyed.
In the verse mentioned above God says:"as often as their skins are roasted
through We shall change them for fresh skins". He doesn't stop there but
He continues to explains why he does that "that they may taste the penalty".
"These are the Signs of Allah: We rehearse them to thee in truth: and Allah
means no injustice to any of His creatures"
(The Meanings Of The Holy Quran 3:108)
"But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account"
(The Meanings Of The Holy Quran)
