Can you help?
This site originated purely because my interest in the history of the region meant that I had the resources to help others in their genealogical searches. Now, because of the feedback I am interested in developing it as much as I possibly can with the view that it become a valuable repository of names. Particularly for the Wellington area.
- If you have any pre 1900 data that you feel might be a worthwhie inclusion, that will benefit others from reading, then I am more than happy to receive it.
- I am not including photos (Unfortunately) as, spacewise, it is not practical. Wouldn't a site full of photos be wonderful?
- Passenger lists; I am happy to receive these from ANY PORT, not just Wellington. I have also discovered that there were some records kept for internal sea travel around NZ. With this in mind I would be interested in smaller ports like Foxton etc.
- The Rugby teams page has an abundance of Palmerston North teams listed. It would be nice to balance it out with some of the outlaying regions. Did your ancestor play? If so, who with & who for. (The wins and losses are unimportant)
