BULLS JOCKEY CLUB formed 1866, first president was Major MARSHALL. J.E. HENRYS was haandicapper. In 1897 the president was Colonel GORTON. John STEVENS M.H.R. was judge, J.G. WILSON vice president, D. CAMPION clerk of scales and F.J. MANSELL treasurer
BULLS FOOTBALL CLUB; began 1876.
JACKEYTOWN RUGBY CLUB; formed 1919.
FEILDING ATHLETIC CLUB formed 1875 and sub committee consisted of Messrs. George KIRTON (newspaper owner) Hector BOOTH (Bullock Wagon Driver & Maori interpreter) Thomas BRADLEY
LEVIN MASONIC LODGE was formed 1904 with efforts from Messrs F.G. Roe, C.V. Swabey of Otaki, B.R. Gardener and Jas McIntyre (who was also active in launching a branch of Druids lodge)

LINTON PONY CLUB first held in a paddock owned by Mr RIX and some of the participants were; E BOWLER, M SHERIDAN, & the MOODY family.
LINTON RIFLE CLUB formed 1900 promoted by Mr Hugh AKERS and first in command Captain George CRAW. Mr S. GREER and Mr J. KENNARD were also members.
LINTON SPORTS CLUB formed 1904. First committe was S GREER, Mr MA MOODY, Messrs, FA HOSKING, R AYMES, R ROSS, CH JONATHON, AE CLARK, S YOUNG, AE CURRIN, G ANDERSON, A RIX, E GREER, A GRIMSTONE, O LARSEN, W JACKSON, T HAWKINS.
LINTON YOUNG FARMERS CLUB : (Sometimes called Fitzherbert West) began 1936, Mr Jack WIGHT, Russell GRETTON, O TERRY, R TERRY, J KILLGARRIFF, T KILLGARRIFF, J MOYNES, W SHERIDAN, M SHERIDAN, G SHERRIDAN, S FREEMAN, O GALPIN, Len BALLINGER, EW HARRISON, ES CRAWFORD.
