Children 7 to 14 Water 3 pints a day of other Articles, 5/8ths of the Adult Ration
Children 1 to 7 Water 3 pints a day;
Preserved milk 1/4pint a day,
Other Articles 3/8ths of an Adult Ration
Or as directed by the Surgeon, either 4 oz Rice or 3 oz of Sago in lieu of Salt Meat, 3 times week
Infants under one Year old do not receive any Ration; but the Surgeon is empowered to direct an Allowance of Water, for their use to be issued to their Mothers. No charge is made for their Passage.
The several Articles of Diet may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Surgeon, so as to promote the health and comfort of the passengers, especially of Children.
