THE STORY: Somehow, Samus follows what looks to be a lost matured metroid into an unknown planet where the metroid proceeds to lay many of her eggs all over. In an effort to put an end to metroid infestation, she searches the planet inside out on a mission to find and destroy the mother metroid and all of her eggs before they hatch, and if they do, destroy the babys as well.
