Untitled
Here I sit, a world away from home,
but one thing remains the same,
you are in my heart.
Even Here, I see your shining eyes on
every girl's face,
your smile in the sunrise,
your beauty, all around me.
It seems that no matter how far
I run, your grasp on my soul is firm.
There is no escape from the sweet
and most deadly trap in which
you hold me.
As I sit and write this I
wonder, on some quiet night,
do you ever feel this Same loneliness,
and do your thoughts ever turn my way
seeking the same comfort?
I pull my coat tight as the night wind
rips this warm thought from me,
and I am left with only this cold reality,
and my thoughts of you.
