The animals of Australia are different in that their developement was separate from the rest of the earth early on. They are facinating and wonderful. Please take the time to explore some of the links. I will add links as I find them.
My favouite animal in Australia would have to be the Platypus! They are incrediable!! We have had an Echidna stay overnight in our home ........... with HUGE distruction !!! *L* I am sure there is an animal, insect, reptile or spider of Australia that would facinate everyone. 'Tis and amazing place!
