PLEASE NOTE:
Miracle, the White Female Buffalo Calf
was
born on the Heider family farm in
Janesville,
Wisconsin on 8/20/94. She is now just
over 4
years old.
Nearly every tribe
(except
the
Pueblo Indians) recognize her as
extremely
sacred and important.
There are many
legends
and variations concerning her but
basically
they all involve the same or similar
predictions.
There are some who say
the
odds of
a white buffalo being born are something
like
1 in 10 million.
She is not a true
albino and
her eyes are a gorgeous deep brown. She
stands proud and tall, And now has her
own
calf (two months old) named
Millenium.
The basic prophecies of the Lakota
(Sioux)
and others predicted that the birth of
the
white buffalo calf would be followed by
the
death of her father within 10 days.
(Indeed,
the sire died of ulcers within 10 days)
And
that the calf would turn colors,
changing
through all the colors of humanity.Once
that
had been done, she would return to her
white,
at which point the process of uniting
all the
peoples (humanity) would begin.
White at
birth, in January, 1995 she turned
black; in
June of 1995, she turned red; in
November of
1995 she turned yellow; then she turned
a
dark brown.
She currently, as we saw
her, is
a cinnamon/rust color with much light
beige
on her.Clearly she is lightening. how
long
it will take her to return to her white
state
no one knows but she is well on her way.
