Hello. *S* This is where you can usually find me...sitting at my desk in the 'cave'. I hope you like the pics and the tales that go with them.

   
Now, for something completely different. These are pics of the lake, and one of the city where I live.  
  This is a view of Lake Havasu City from out on the Island. The Island wasnt always an island. It was called Pittsburg Point, just a penensula. When Robert McCulloch brought the London Bridge to Havasu, the needed somewhere to put it, so they dredged out a channel, and the point became an island.   Taken from the very tip of the island. This part of the island is called 'Site 6', once a military area. This is the most narrow part of the lake, and during busy weekends, it's like a freeway with all the boats.

Another shot from the island. Looking across the lake towards California. The boat in this pic is the 'Dixiebelle'. It's a repro of one of the Colorado Rivers old riverboats. It's a tour boat complete with food and a bar. Really a party boat this time of year. The spring breakers love it!!!
