Well, over seven percent (obviously) went to social security, well that is just great, there is nothing I love more than pouring nearly ten percent of my paycheck into a pool for the elderly, one problem though. I am twenty-three years old, and by last estimation Social Security will be bankrupt something like eight years before I am able to draw it, that is only if the average life span does not increase before then. So, there goes that.
It starts to get a bit sketchy after that, I know a small portion goes to some accident insurance thing, OHSA or whatever, but a very minimal amount.
Now, here is what I figure is happening with the rest of my money. I am paying the rent for a poor family in Hoboken, buying baby food for a single mother in Detroit, providing health care for a small family somewhere in Northern Washington who can't afford it (Not like I can afford it, I only get seventy-five percent of what I earn, I could get a stoked health care plan with the rest of my paycheck). All the rest of my money, I think, goes to help support children with out of work parents, yes, that's right, parents who just sit back and take in their food stamps, WIC, Welfare, free health Care, Hud Housing....see my point?
Let me tell you what, if I am going to be paying so much money into all these programs, let me build a few of my own. Buying condoms for everyone, rather than paying for their mistakes. Mandatory tubal ligations for single women who give birth. A vasectomy for any man that gets a woman pregnant without marrying her, or having a job. Hell, even a food program that is not so easy to defraud, something that uses a credit card system, or anything that actually forces the user to buy food rather than selling the stamps for cash to buy beer and drugs. And how about health care for me? I haven't been to a doctor in seven years!
Well, time to go back to work, but I will get my revenge, I am only going to do seventy-five percent of my work, let's see how that goes over.
