deep dark hole--ray of light
deep dark hole
there's a deep dark hole
that i keep falling through
away from the life
and the love i once knew
and it's cold outside
there is nowhere left to hide
so i fall deeper and deeper
into the great dark unknown
i fall silently away
finding i am all alone
with just the deep dark hole
ray of light
there's a ray of light
that comes shining through
it penetrates the darkness
and makes the black sky blue
it now feels warmer in here
perhaps a little less fear
so i climb higher and higher
i reach out for the light
feels like i am lifted up
it might just be all right
with that ray of light
with thoughts of you, there is always hope!
