darkness follows me
a happy time
shared laughter and smiles
the simplistic way life should be
a few shared moments
togetherness of friends
so why does the darkness follow me?
i cannot run
nor can i go hide
i will be found out in the end
so i just endure
say that i am happy
time spent and then shared with a friend
but it is cold in here,
and though i try to hide
the darkness follows me........
