I brought to this Earth
my own piece of heaven
with sparkling dark eyes
and brown wavy hair
feet and fingers so tiny
smooth skin, oh so fair
after 9 months of harboring
my task was finally done
and I gave to this world
a most beautiful son
there were times that were hard
when things fell out of sync
but I am the pen
and my son is the ink
father time has passed
and although we're apart
my love grows every day
for my son who fills my heart
…..through knowing you, I am truly blessed!
