too much emphasis in void directions
placing meaning upon words that are hollow
struggling with a solution that contains no answer
is a travesty to my heart and soul
bits and pieces differ so from whole
too much quality to less than the best
is to compromise to a different goal
it means to settle for and not really gain
can you gain when nothing was ever given
is a lie what keeps me driven?
looking back i can finally see
my mistakes made, both tried and true
the attempts made, the solutions i've found
what i've gained, only through my corrections
and now i finally realize,
too much emphasis in void directions
i wish i had seen this before........
