just about two years ago
time flies, oh yes it can
i was bragging about my gals
yes indeed a happy man
just in case you missed out
on my story from the beginning
i'll fill you in on my secret
of how i turned up winning
i've been up and then been down
it's been a hard-filled life
but i soon learned what joy was
when Chris agreed to be my wife
then from our joyous union
for all of the world to see
my wife bore me two daughters
my greatest gift that's come to be
i know that i am truly blessed
and that God watches over me
now that wonderful sum of two
is becoming a magnificent three
although i know how, i'm still surprised
that my happiness found a way to grow
to both princesses, we'll add a prince
a Prince Ryan for the world to know
we sit and wait for Prince Ryan
he'll be here during late June
my heart's song of happiness
will be sung as a happier tune
to sum it up and keep it short
before my tale is too long
i wish the world my happiness
may you all sing my heart's song
this poem is dedicated to my wonderful brother Freddie and the soon-to-be newest edition to his beautiful family, his son Ryan Scott!
