is it wrong for us to be so happy
don't even give it a second thought
for the things we've given one another are real
not artificial, and could never be bought!

is it wrong for us to be so happy
how could anyone even bother to ask
for what we have is an affair of the heart
to me it seems such a simple task

is it wrong for us for us to be so happy
the question appears to keep coming on
but in the weary moments of life's cruel battle
i am certain the two of us have won!!!
