I'm from the Phoenix, AZ area.
We moved here 16 years ago from Los Angeles.
I've been singing since I was 2 years old (honest!)
that's when I started singing harmonies with my 8
year old sister and my Mom and Dad.(We used to yodel in 4 part harmony)
My Mom and Dad met in 1938 when they sang on a radio
program in NY called "Tex Baker and his Texas Ramblers" on WWRL.

My whole family sings, except my son Damien,
he plays guitar, creates totally awesome computer
      graphics and computer synthesized music.

My daughter Bekki has a terrific voice and is a
wonderful and hardworking wife and mother.

Damien and Bekki are not only my children,
they're my friends too. They did a pretty good job of "raising their Mother",
it sure wasn't the other way around. I give thanks every day
for having been given the gift of these two most exceptional beings.
I'm so proud of them and the adults they have become.

And TAH-DAH! last, but definitly NOT least are
      my GRANDDAUGHTERS!

Ashlyn Rose is 16 years old and loves to sing too! She consistently carries a 4.0 grade average
and will be the Captain of her Speech team next year.
She wants to be an actress someday.

Carsyn Alizabeth is 8 years old and quite a handful.
She sings beautifully! Right now she pretty much wants to be
a ballet dancing hairdresser opera singing pirate when she grows up.

Very sadly, Summer Damienne passed away on Feb. 6th, 2003
as a result of injuries sustained when she was hit by a car.
She was just 8 years old.
This beautiful little angel will forever be in my heart.

Summer, if I could have a lifetime wish,
a dream that would come true,
I'd pray to Heaven with all my heart
      for yesterday and you.

By the way, in addition to being a wonderful singer,
my mother was a very talented artist. The border
here on my page was created from a handpainted card
that she sent to me and I scanned into my computer.

My life hasn't been smooth sailing, that's for sure!
But I've kept going in spite of the storms.
The way I look at it, all my experiences, good and bad,
have made me a better, stronger person and from what
I've learned I'm better able to help others who are living
thru the same things. I know that sometimes it helps
just to get things out and know that there IS someone who cares.

Just know that you're not alone and you CAN make it
past all the pain and have a better life! You've just
gotta be strong and know that there is help out there
for you, you just have to ask for it. Take control
of your life instead of letting other people and things
      control it for you.
Helping me through the tough times has been my wonderful husband Tommy.
Even though everyone said it wouldn't last, we've been together for 19 years.

I'd Like to leave off here with some words of wisdom
from a really wonderful man with a Heart as big as the Universe
      and a truly beautiful Soul.
He looks down from the Heavens
and helps to guide me. He's the man who taught me
      the true meaning of

      UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

      which is

To Love BECAUSE OF and IN SPITE OF....

" Words from My Daddy "

Living each day should be living to LIVE!
      Not to just merely exsist.
Enjoy all the pleasures you meet on the way,
Don't let one little thing be missed.

Make known what you have worth knowing.
Show the world all you feel you should.
At the end of the day have the feeling,
You did that day all that you could.

Do what you darn well please doing,
Say what you're darned pleased to say.
Take all in stride, don't flinch or hide,
      From anything coming your way.

Love whom you will, Don't bother to hate,
      Hating is energy wasted.
Show no hesitation in any relation.
There's too much of life to be tasted!
