CYRENUS: He was born about 1837 in New York. He married Charity VAN CLEVE abt. 1857 probably in Michigan. At the age of 25 years he was living in Owosso, MI. and joined the 29th Michigan Infantry, Company E and became a Corp. during the Civil War. The dates show that he was already married with at least three (3) Children. 1870 Federal Census shows Cyrenus and Charity living in Owosso, Sheawasse Co., MI. They owned Real Estate valued at $500.00. At some point after the war Cyrenus and his family moved to Snohomish Co., WA. Cyrenus is buried in the GAR Cemetery, Snohomish City, Snohomish Co., WA. There is no information on his stone. Charity was still alive in 1920 Federal Census, Snohomish City, Snohomish Co., WA. Living in her own home with her son-in-law, Leroy JOHNSTON.

The funeral of Cyrus Thomas, who died at his home Saturday was held from the Presbyterian church yesterday afternoon.

CHAUNCY: Born Sept. 1858 in Oworro, Sheawassee Co., MI. He married Francis M. ?. The family moved to Snohomish Co., Washington sometime between 1897 and 1899. He died 24 Oct. 1924 at the age of 68 and is buried in the Machias Cem., Machias, Snohomish Co., WA. His wife died 11 Aug. 1934 and is also buried in the Machias Cemetery.

Chauncy: Born April 1897 in Michigan. He married Mary Gertude WARE. She was born 10 Sept. 1902 in Startup, WA. She was the daughter of Joseph Francis WARE. Motheris unknown. She died 25 Sept. 1958 in Everett, Snohomish Co., WA. NOTE: She must have remarried because it shows her name as WILLIAMS at the time of her death.

EVELYN JUNE THOMAS of SULTAN,WA.
Evelyn June Thomas of Sultan age 12, died late Tuesday at the Monroe General hospital, after a brief illness. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Williams of Index; her father, Chauncey Thomas of Sultan; one sister, Myrtle; three brothers, Earl, James and Lewis of Index, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Ware of Sultan. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sultan chapel of E.E. Purdy and Sons, with the Rev. A.W. Luce officiating. Burial will be in the Sultan Cem.

ELLA "CLARK" THOMAS and HUSBAND, MR. CLARK
ELLA: She was born about 1862 in Sheawasse Co., MI. At some point she married a Mr. CLARK. All I know is that at the time of her sister Lucy's death in 1917, her and her husband were living in Detroit, Michigan.
GEORGE: He was born abt. 1869 in Sheawassee Co., MI. There is no further info. on this child.
