STAB WOUNDS ARE CAUSE OF DEATH

C.E. Griffith, 63 years old, died in the City Hospital last night as the result of throat cuts.

He was found Monday in his room at the Palace Hotel, 912 First Ave., and could not
recall how he recieved the wound. It happened during a drinking party Saturday night, he
told police. The body was taken to the harpst Funeral Home. Dr. P.C. West, county
autopsy surgeon, said today he would investigate possible foul-play theories despite

learning that City Hospital attendants considered the cut an unusual one for the

Richland Co., WI. This may have been a still Birth. The inclusion of this person in the
Griffith family is without solid proof but is based on two facts. The location of the
Grandmother's burial in 1877 next to Donie's burial in 1874. Also, research
indicates no other people by the name of Fuller in this general area
in either Vernon or Richland counties in 1874.
