Lloyd served in the Spanish American War from 11 June 1900 to 10 June 1903. He was in Co. D. 3rd. US Infantry. After his service, he was a Breakman for the Railroad in Seattle, WA. He retired from this position. The family lived in the Seattle, King Co., WA. area all their lives.
