Some words on...
~IRAQ~
After it having been requested, the issue of Iraq has now been taken into deep and inconclusive consideration by the Total Scorn Association. The previous posted issue of Kosovo might, or rather, shall reveal its similarities. All pointing at the failing intellects of people caught up in world-abusing mass-dillusions and psychotic superegos.
Now, in the spring of 1999, as the little birds skip from tree to trunk, getting on our nerves with their constant monotonious fucking singing. As we can look at the pale sun, as it becomes wormer, and stands higher in the sky, for each day that pass. Knowing, that at the climax of this annual cycle, we will hate that goddamn source of sun-tans even more than we despise German tourists in tangas, as they (as well as the sun) infest our beaches and bars and what not.
Springtimes, to put it shortly. And Saddam Hussein is probably having the time of his life.
The question is whether anyone even remembers what was going around in the news headlines before the Kosovo situation blew up in the world's face. Some intellectuals might actually be able to remember that it was our dear Saddam that was in the spotlight back in those forlorn days.
What's he up to now? One might wonder. We know nothing of this, because the world has obviously become bored with the poor old man, so he's no longer even mentioned in the news. No troubles with UN inspectations reported, no kidnappings, no frosty diplomatic relations. Nothing.
Surely, the issue will rise again as soon as that manic depressive fuck in Belgrade has been put in his place. And then we'll most likely be back exactly where we left off. The same Saddam, the same wimps in the UN, the same scorched fucking disgusting sand-box region of events. And we'll have fun, as we've always had fun at the whole situation.
So, what's the guy done in the past? He attacked, invaded, crushed, Kuwait. That wasn't a particularly smart move. Infact, monkeys hooked on acid would have done a better job than his military advisors. That is to say, if Saddam hadn't already shot all of his associates and ministers. Now, the stupidity does not lie in the tactics of the actual attack, but rather, in the fact that the attack was ever even thought of.
What kind of a moron invades a country that supplies the US, and much of the industrilized world with something, considered, as vital as oil?
It's breathtaking. Someone in the Iraqi government must have been smart enough to know that they had it all comming to them, if they whent along with this outrageous plan. The democratic world was just looking for an excuse to do something about Saddams little playground, and what does he do? Attacks Kuwait. Which is great! Because that gives us at Total Scorn something else to laugh about. Not that there has even been something even resembling a shortage.
So what about the UN then? It must be seen as quite strange that they actually agreed to attack Iraq a while ago, and also beat the shit out of him. But why on earth did they not finnish the job? They, meaning mostly the US as usual, wasted a couple of men and billions on a military action that did not bring an end to the situation, but rather, a step back to a former established situation. Of course, this can quite easily be explained however: the US does not give a flying fuck about Iraq, or those goddamn Kurds that he is gasing, the US attacked Iraq for the oil, period. And as soon as all Iraqi soldiers had either been killed, or given up, the US was happy again. So, it is all economics. All this talk from the UN about helping different nations for the mere reason of "them being humans as us!" (seems to suprice some people). But, we are very sorry to bring this to thee, the UN declaration of human rights is hollow fucking rhyme. Not only is it hypocritical in its intentions, but it is also completely void in its relation to reality, as those who live in it knows it.
Back to Saddam. One could wonder how long he is going to remain in power in Iraq, but one should definately hope that his reign be long a prosperous one!
Those who really deserve scorn in this situation are not even close to Saddam (or even the UN). The Iraqi population. What the fuck are these people thinking?!
Then again, as the old scornful saying goes: "Who ever said anyone was thinking?"
