ABOUT AZ/SO
AZ/SO was completed in 1964, each house about 200 men and women. The halls were designated as our third and fourth Honors halls in 1996. Resident rooms in both buildings were originally designed to house four students, but recently have been converted to double occupancy. As a result, these rooms are some of the most spacious and private on campus. Each room is furnished with four built-in closets and four desks/dressers. Enough desk space is provided for each resident to have a computer and still have plenty of space to work. A computer lab(soon-to-be), recreation area, and kitchen are located on the main floor, while laundry and vending facilities are located in the lowel level. Each floor has a lounge area. Floors in Sonora are coed and floors in Arizona are single sex.
MY FLOOR
8th Floor Sonora. My floor is awesome. Most of the floor is from Arizona, but there are a few of us that are from out-of-state. My floor is one of three coed floors in the AZ/SO hall. Having a coed floor is awesome, we have become all great friends!
