7/16/99:Holy shit this summer has flown by. We have been playing shows left and right. we got paid for the Guttermouth show, and if we can get 100+ people to come to this saturdays show with Phatter than Albert, we get paid again. So please come. I am learnig to play trombone, because when Jim goes to college he is not going to be in the band any more, and Erics parents found out what UOB stands for and they are making him quit at the end of the summer. So, after this summer they might just go ska/punk with out horns. Like goldfinger or Op ivy. Probasbly more like Suicide Machines though. any way, maybe if you play a horn, and are pretty decent, we might consider. oh yeah, and your name can't be Waldo.
6/22/99:So far this summer has been AWESOME!! They have been playing some great shows and there are more to come. I'll post all the info on the shows page. So there!
5/17/99:Uob will be playing a couple of different shows this summer. On June 4th they will be playing at the House O' Sound here in Kingman. So far it will just be them. So if you have a semi-good ska/punk or punk band, or jazz, even metal, e-mail me and we will probably let you play. And then they are gonna play at the same place with Straight Faced(hardcore?). That show will be June 12th. If you need any info on directions where The House O' Sound is just e-mail me. And please if you have a semi-competent ska or punk band please do not hesitate to e-mail me. We are pretty desperate.
4/28/99:I am getting really angry!! You guys had better start e-mailing me. No one writes me as it is, so I need people to e-mail with real questions, and people who wnat the band to play at their birthday party or, at the roll-a-rena or something. Come on, throw me a bone here people.
4/13/99:The boys had an awesome gig on saturday, they destroyed all bands that were there.If you can, ask nate's mom for her delicious cookies. U.O.B will be recording some time soon, so look for them real soon on some comps or whatever. By now, if you hadn't known, Skylar{master of puppets}Shumway is are punk rock manager. Thats all!
4/5/99:Tha boys are playing with Toil, and Treeless Beavers on Saturday. So far there has been absolutely no advertising( that is because FBLA is putting it on). Toil is a semi-metal band, I haven't heard a whole lot of them, they are local though, and include ex uob drummer, Josh Adams. Nick tells me to say that Jim is in the band, and not to talk sh*t. They are looking for a singer too. just a singer, he/she doesn't have to do anything else. Just sing. so e-mail me if you can sing, and you live in Kingman.and I'll tell you to eat my butt.
3/16/99:well, the band is back. Nick is drumming again(he is really good), and I am still confused about Jim, we'll just say that he is the band still.They played in the talent show not too long ago, are working on some new songs. They are thinking about...well nevermind. I need to clear that with them first. I am gona get some pictures and sh*t up shortly.
12/15/98: Well things with the boyz ain't going so well. I have talked with them and they all say about the same thing. It don't look too good. there's some new links too. soon to be more, when I figure out some new sites.
12/6/98: High School dance is canceled. Sorry ladies, but sexy tenorman Jim has left the band.
11/1/98: We will be playing *sigh* yet another high school dance, probably on December 12. If anyone is interested in us playing anywhere in Arizona please let us know, or if anyone knows of a venue we could play at, please send us contact info. Thanx!
