I have been doing astronomy as a hobby for a little over 2 years now. I enjoy it very much and try to spend one night a week stragazing. I now have 2 telescopes. A Celestron Firstscope 60 EQ DLX. I used this scope for a year and a half with good results. I have recently purcahsed a used C-114 DLX over the internet. This scope gives brighter veiws and works well from my backyard. Here is a picture of my scopes.
